CVPP-FCI promotes various post harvest technologies among smallholders in Africa. These include sorting, cleaning, chipping, drying, processing, packaging, and labelling of products such as cashew nuts, vegetables, pawpaw, mangoes, and sweet potatoes.

Cereals are dried, winnowed, treated and stored. All these reduce post harvest losses, enhance cereal quality, increase their shelf life and consequently give competitive advantage to farmers.
